Responsibilities
* Under direct supervision, assists pharmacists in processing medication orders for inpatients and outpatients.
* Visits assigned units to reorder medications for hospitalized patients, supply-requested narcotics, barbiturates, and gather unused medications.
* Pre-packages drugs and narcotics and performs non-complex bookkeeping duties. EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: High School diploma. 1-3 months of job related experience is required.
Qualifications:
* HIgh school diploma or GED is required.
* 1-3 months Pharmacy experience required.
* Hospital Experience preferred
* Current State of Michigan licensure required.
* Certified pharmacy technician prefered
