Responsibilities
* The Pharmacy Coordinator reports to the Manager, Vice President of Operations in the region and works closely with the Clinical Vice President.
* He/she is responsible for coordinating the provision of all pharmacy services operated in their clinic pharmacies.
* He/she provides leadership for professional staff and assures proper supervision of supportive personnel.
* He/she provides overall assurance that pharmaceutical services meet patient care needs and that optimal internal and external customer satisfaction is achieved.
* The Pharmacy Coordinator provides oversight and leadership for appropriate drug use within their region of the health system.
* They work closely with the medical and administrative leadership as well as the primary care providers to develop and implement strategies which continuously improve the quality of patient care at the best value for the patients and our health system.
* He/she will assist the Ambulatory Product Line in identifying opportunities to streamline patient care, improve the provision of pharmacy services.
* Decrease waste and rework in the region, and improve drug utilization..

Qualifications:
* Prior experience and knowledge of integrated health systems is desired.
* Prior work experience as a leader in an outpatient pharmacy environment or advanced training is desired.
* Must be a registered pharmacist in the State of Michigan.
